Materials Management Intern

This internship offers hands-on experience in healthcare supply chain operations, including inventory control, purchasing, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities: - Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock replenishment - Support data collection and analysis related to supply utilization and cost savings opportunities - Help maintain accurate item master and inventory records - Participate in process improvement projects within supply chain and logistics operations - Assist with reviewing purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation - Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials as needed - Observe and learn about contracting, sourcing, and distribution functions - Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field - Strong analytical and organizational skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Interest in healthcare supply chain operations Required Skills: Inventory management, Data analysis, Process improvement, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Supply chain operations
