Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contracts Lead to join our team!
What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
Ensure all contracts are aligned with company policies, project requirements, and legal regulations.
Maintain an organized contract repository and track key milestones, obligations, and deliverables.
Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks across projects.
Advise project teams on contract terms, liability, claims, and change management.
Collaborate with legal counsel on complex contractual disputes or claims resolution.
Act as the primary point of contact for contract-related issues with project teams.
Review project documentation to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Support project managers in claim submissions, variation orders, and contractual correspondence.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.
Prepare and present commercial reports, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior management.
Support negotiations and dispute resolution, ensuring outcomes are commercially favorable.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Monitor contractual obligations, deadlines, and performance metrics.
Implement best practices in contract management and continuous improvement processes.
Mentor and guide junior contracts and commercial staff.
Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment within the contracts function.
Conduct performance reviews and support professional development initiatives.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPCM, CCM, or equivalent) are preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract management, preferably in infrastructure, civil engineering, or airport projects.
Proven expertise in contract negotiation, administration, and risk management.
Experience managing large-scale projects and interfacing with multiple stakeholders.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
Experience with international contracts and FIDIC or NEC contract forms.
Knowledge of airport or aviation project procurement, operations, and compliance requirements.
Ability to manage multiple high-value contracts simultaneously.
Strong business acumen with a focus on commercial outcomes and risk mitigation.
Experience in dispute resolution and claims management.
