Job Description
Summary: Oracle is a leading company that brings together data, infrastructure, applications, and expertise to power innovations. They are seeking a Software Developer to develop, enhance, and support custom reporting solutions for prominent clients, focusing on requirements gathering, troubleshooting, and report development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, debug, and design custom reports using SQL, Cerner Command Language (CCL), and other programming languages according to provided specifications
- Perform troubleshooting investigations by collecting data, using diagnostic tools, shadowing end users, testing workflows, and analyzing log files
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams through both written and verbal channels
- Document activities, resolutions, and knowledge articles throughout the investigation and project lifecycle
- Prioritize tasks based on severity and business needs while balancing client requirements with internal objectives
- Collaborate across teams to address and resolve issues promptly
- Support industry change control processes to implement solution enhancements and ensure contract compliance
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotations and serve as a team resource as needed
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship required due to client contracts
- Ability to obtain the appropriate government security clearance is required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 0–5 years of experience with SQL/CCL and database management
- Experience with Millennium, Soarian Financial Reporting, Healthcare Intelligence, PowerInsight, Oracle Analytics (OA), and Claims Rules Development
- Experience with Crystal Reports, Tableau, or healthcare data reporting is a plus
- Understanding of Java or other programming languages is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, willingness to learn, and commitment to health equity
- Knowledge of clinical and/or financial workflows in a healthcare environment
