Responsibilities: - Collaborate with experienced assembly mechanics, machinists, welders, and engineers to develop new manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures - Evaluate and improve existing manufacturing processes to reduce cost and enhance sustainability, integrating best practices within the production environment - Develop detailed process flows, work instructions, bills of materials, and tooling requirements with strong emphasis on safety and foreign object damage prevention - Support continuous improvement initiatives and the integration of new capital equipment for expanded production capabilities - Provide final acceptance testing and technical support as needed - Flexibility to support multiple shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd, weekends) based on production schedules Required Qualifications: - Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree - Be majoring in or having majored in Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with up to 2 years of relevant experience - Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) - The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs Preferred Qualifications: - Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher - Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings - Exposure to mechanical assembly, welding, and machining processes - Experience or aptitude in continuous improvement and technical writing Required Skills: Engineering drawings interpretation, Mechanical assembly, Welding, Machining processes, Continuous improvement Benefits: RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: Relocation assistance may be available, Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time
