Facility Damage Compliance Coordinator
Location: Lorain OH-North Pointe Op Ctr
Job Summary
Provide service and support to internal and external customers, attorneys throughout the Nipsco territories and CDC territories related to compilation and submission of case files to commission and related to compilation and submission of facility damage claims to attorney for collection.
• The incumbent must be creative and use knowledge and skills on each individual case, applying appropriate analysis, evaluation, and investigation.
• Must be detail oriented and able to accurately capture data.
Essential Functions
Creates a report link for all facility damages.
Creates a case folder for each facility damage.
Compiles all files associated with each facility damage and places in the appropriate case folder.
Populates the IURC initial spreadsheet.
Inbound and outbound communications related to submission or clarification of information.
Send completed spreadsheets to the IURC Pipeline Safety Division by due date.
Add case numbers to case folders.
Populate the IURC form with all required documentation in the NIPSCO Gas Case Regulatory Management Database by due date.
Inbound and outbound communications related to the submission of the turnover to attorney facility damage claims to external stakeholders.
Helps identify and develop continuous improvement opportunities.
Complete Turn Over to Attorney (TOA) process with accurate information, populates spreadsheet, sends, and saves emails.
Stuffing all printed correspondence for mailing, ensuring all documents are included.
Scanning the completed payments to the Facility Damage Coordinators.
Completing the year end retention project of moving, boxing and shipping of paper facility damages.
Compiles all facility damage information needed for Ohio commission filings and submissions
Populates the UTC spreadsheets to track timelines and outcomes off all UTC claims
Inbound and outbound communications related to approval and submission of claims
Required Qualifications For Position
High School Diploma
Strong oral and written communication with interpersonal skills as demonstrated by successful interactions with others where tact and diplomacy are needed.
Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
Working knowledge of support systems, i.e., Microsoft Office
Proficiency in use of personal computers and Windows based software.
Demonstrated analytical skills.
Proven ability to function in an environment with ever changing priorities.
Proven ability to work independently to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Attention to detail.
Microsoft Office experience
Knowledge of NGD policies and procedures.
Basic knowledge of underground construction and utility line locating processes.
Basic knowledge of state and federal requirements for facility locating.
Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position
Minimum of 2 years of experience or career equivalent in natural gas distribution operations.

Salary Range*:
$46,900.00 - $65,700.00
*The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to thecandidate’s skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity.
