Who You Will Work With
You’ll be part of a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and product owners. You’ll also collaborate with stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, and Enterprise Platforms to deliver solutions that are secure, scalable, and aligned with Nike’s digital strategy.
Who We Are Looking For
We’re looking for a Salesforce Engineer III who thrives at the intersection of innovation and execution. You’re a hands-on engineer with strong Salesforce platform depth and an integration mindset, comfortable partnering with Product Owners, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions. You care about clean, maintainable code, reliable releases, and secure-by-design implementations—and you’re ready to take ownership of technical decisions, raise engineering standards, and mentor others as we build modern Legal Technology experiences.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
8+ years of software development experience in designing complex, enterprise-wide business solutions.
5+ years of Salesforce Development experience in Service Cloud
Minimum 4+ year hands-on experience in designing and building 3rd party system integrations with Salesforce.
Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and SOQL
Proficiency in designing and implementing automation using Salesforce Flow and LWC/JavaScript, including modernizing legacy automation (e.g., migrating Workflow Rules/Process Builder where applicable) to streamline business processes and improve maintainability.
Strong understanding of Salesforce Platform in configuring, customizing, and deploying solutions, including advanced knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and platform automation tools.
Experience implementing Salesforce CI/CD with version control and automated deployments (e.g., GitHub with GitHub Actions or Jenkins, and/or Salesforce release tooling such as Copado or DevOps Center), supporting multiple environments and reliable release processes.
Demonstrated expertise in integrating external applications and services using Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk API), with a strong ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot data exchanges and real-time integrations to support complex enterprise workflows.
Reporting & Analytics: Ability to create dashboards, custom reports, and harness analytics tools to provide actionable insights for stakeholders and leadership.
Strong understanding of Salesforce security and data access (profiles/permission sets, sharing/role hierarchy, field-level security) and experience applying secure-by-design practices in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments.
Certifications: Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Developer I and II, Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer I highly preferred.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with Salesforce Agentforce (or similar AI-assisted service capabilities).
Advanced Reporting & Analytics: Expertise in Einstein Analytics, Tableau CRM, or custom reporting solutions that leverage big data and AI-driven insights.
AI and Automation: Experience implementing AI-powered features such as Salesforce Einstein, workflow automation, and predictive analytics to drive productivity and operational efficiency.
Third-Party App Ecosystem: Hands-on experience configuring and integrating AppExchange solutions, including DocuSign, to enhance platform capabilities.
UI/UX Design: Ability to design intuitive user interfaces and optimize user experience across desktop and mobile platforms, including Lightning App Builder and custom components.
Testing Frameworks: Knowledge of automated testing tools, such as Selenium or Provar, and implementing unit, integration, and regression testing strategies for Salesforce applications.
Certifications: Additional Salesforce certifications (Architect, Consultant etc.) or Conga accreditation to demonstrate extended expertise.
What You Will Work On
As a Salesforce Engineer III, you will:
Design, develop, and deliver customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura (as needed), Visualforce (as needed), JavaScript, and SOQL—balancing maintainability, performance, and governor limits.
Own technical delivery for features end-to-end: refine requirements with partners, produce solution designs and technical specifications, implement, test, and support deployments.
Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and event-driven patterns (Platform Events, AWS EventBridge), including troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Implement and optimize declarative capabilities such as Flow, validation rules, approval processes, and data model changes (custom objects/fields) to support business needs while improving scalability and user experience.
Perform data migration, integration, and deployment activities, including data quality checks and post-deployment validation.
Implement and manage release processes using version control and CI/CD (e.g., GitHub plus a Salesforce release tool such as Copado or DevOps Center), with an emphasis on repeatability and low-risk deployments.
Integrate Conga (or similar CLM tools) and Adobe Sign with Salesforce to enable contract workflows and document automation.
Lead code reviews and contribute to architecture discussions; establish and evolve engineering standards (patterns, documentation, test strategy) for the team.
Maintain Security & Compliance through strong understanding of Salesforce security (profiles/permission sets, role hierarchy/sharing, field-level security), secure coding practices, and regulatory expectations relevant to contract management.
Stay current on Salesforce releases and best practices, and proactively identify opportunities to improve platform health, reliability, and developer productivity.
