Job Description
Summary: Nest DC manages a portfolio of long-term rental homes in Washington, DC, focusing on creating high-quality living experiences. As the Office Administrator, you will ensure the headquarters operates smoothly, providing a hospitable environment for clients and supporting the team with various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the face of Nest DC, managing the entry experience for clients, residents, and contractors with a high-touch hospitality mindset
- Oversee daily office "readiness" (opening/closing, cleanliness, and supply inventory)
- Manage relationships with vendors (cleaning, IT, security)
- Handle all incoming/outgoing mail, package distribution, and key management for our property portfolio
- Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring new "Nest DC team members have the tech, keys, and tools needed for success
- Execute the employee recognition program, including event planning, milestone celebrations, and managing company swag
- Maintain the inventory and functionality of all company hardware (laptops, printers, Apple TVs) and software (Slack, Gmail, Adobe, etc.)
- Manage registrations, inspections, and maintenance schedules for all company vehicles to ensure 100% compliance and safety
- Conduct quarterly "tech checks" and provide basic troubleshooting and training for team members on office systems
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to lift items up to 25 pounds
