Supply Chain Intern

Summary: Nel Hydrogen is the global leader in on-site hydrogen generation and the largest electrolyser manufacturer in the world. They are seeking a Supply Chain Intern to support internal and external supply chain activities, including supplier approval, inventory control, and quality-related processes. Responsibilities: - Update legacy supplier documentation and support cleanup of the Approved Supplier List - Perform internal supply chain audits using MMS Pyramid tools and identify areas for improvement - Create and update documentation related to supplier assessment, approval, and monitoring - Review of MRB with Quality Engineers and follow up on Supplier Corrective actions - Assist in writing work instructions for alternate parts usage and related documentation - Process requests related to part obsolescence - Review and support best practices for first‑in, first‑out (FIFO) using LEAN principles - Support inventory control activities through cycle count programs - Review incoming inspection results and audit findings - Work with Quality to identify product defects and support documentation and feedback to suppliers - Perform all tasks in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures Required Qualifications: - Currently working toward a degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, LEAN principles, or a related field - Proficiency with computers and standard software systems - Strong PowerPoint and report‑writing skills - Good verbal, reading, and written English communication skills - Ability to work accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner - High attention to detail - Self‑motivated and comfortable working both independently and in a team Required Skills: Supply Chain, Manufacturing, LEAN principles, Supplier approval, monitoring, Inventory control, Quality processes, Internal supply chain audits, MMS Pyramid tools, Audits, Data review, Continuous improvement, PowerPoint, Report writing Benefits: Comprehensive health and insurance benefits, Short-term incentive program, Competitive paid vacation time, Sick leave, Holidays
