Job Description
Summary: Navy Federal Credit Union is a leading financial institution that provides a meaningful career experience. They are seeking a Learning Solutions Architect I to support leaders and business partners by providing effective learning solutions aligned with enterprise strategy and goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting research on identified changes and updates to existing or new plans
- Assist in the development of learning solutions and content for one or more professional development or employee upskilling programs
- Independently facilitate group learning sessions on less complex materials
- Assist in creation of reference materials, support tools and leader resources that reinforce strategic learning
- Remain current with industry learning best practices and technical, product and program enhancements
- May participate in small scale Section projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Exposure to one or more of the following: program management and evaluation, learning science, communications, instructional design, organizational development and/or extensive experience designing, developing, and implementing training
- Willingness to learn, use a growth mindset and combine theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on application
- Understanding of how to conduct needs assessment and analysis for learning solutions
- Experience effectively building relationships with and influencing team members and management
- Understanding of measuring ROI on learning solutions
- Understanding of compiling, organizing and presenting findings and conclusions clearly and concisely
- Exposure to synchronous learning and/or facilitation for individuals or groups
- Experience in working and participating in cross-functional teams and projects
- Fundamental understanding of instructional theories, educational psychology, educational theory, tools and resources
- Understanding of research, analysis and problem-solving in Learning environment
- Ability to interact tactfully and effectively in difficult situations
- Knowledge of organizational, planning, and project management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to include speaking and/or presenting in front of groups in a professional setting
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Human Resources, business, communication, behavioral sciences, Program Management or related field or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience
