Staffing Coordinator

Summary: Navos is part of MultiCare’s Behavioral Health Network, offering comprehensive behavioral health care for people of all ages. The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for performing staffing functions, maintaining adequate staffing levels, and tracking credentials and departmental data in various units. Responsibilities: - Performing staffing functions - Assuring adequate staffing levels are maintained in the Inpatient Units, Emergency Department and ancillary departments on all shifts daily - Tracking and maintaining credentials and departmental data associated with staffing - Working under limited supervision - Requiring strong organizational and planning skills - Decision making within the scope of the position’s responsibilities - Using discretion and good judgment - Internal contacts are basically with Department Managers and Supervisors (or House Supervisors, for Nursing units) - Routine interaction with patient care staff and management throughout the organization - External contacts are limited but may include agency personnel Required Qualifications: - High school graduate or equivalent - Minimum one (1) year of secretarial/staffing experience - Minimum five (5) years of experience in the use computer software applications Required Skills: Staffing, Credential tracking, Computer software applications Benefits: Competitive salary, Medical, Dental, Retirement benefits, Paid time off
