Treasury Specialist

Summary: Navien, Inc. is a rapidly growing leader in the home comfort sector, known for its innovative high-efficiency condensing technology. They are seeking an experienced Treasury Specialist to assist with daily treasury functions, including cash flow management, reporting, and maintaining internal controls. Responsibilities: - Support all aspects of daily treasury operations - Oversee cash reporting and basic forecasting, lender compliance requirements - Assist Lead / Supervisor / Manager with the company's treasury activities - Prepare and communicate daily bank transactions reports with relevant teams - Record incoming Cash Receipts such as Checks, Incoming wire payments, and Credit Card payments on Daily Cash flow Reports - Assist with handling paper checks, including preparation, issuance, and mailing of checks - Maintain accurate daily records of all cash transactions - Investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to cash transactions - Reconcile bank deposits and payments - Reconcile daily Cash flow Report vs. SAP checking account amounts and online banking details - Verify unposted amounts and discrepancies - Inform accounting staff or banks of any discrepancies that need to be corrected - Monitor Positive Pay activities and coordinate exception handling with AP and management - Prepare and process bank transactions through multiple banking platforms in accordance with approval procedures and internal controls - Support fraud prevention efforts by carefully reviewing payment activities and identifying unusual transactions - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and adapt to evolving treasury processes and banking relationships - Assist with cash flow management, including support for cash flow forecasts & management plan on an on-going basis - Record daily actual cash disbursements and estimated payables based on projection and actual figures - Help establish and maintain internal controls - Monitor and establish company-wide treasury policies/internal controls Required Qualifications: - Knowledge of general treasury, forecasting, budgeting, and related accounting - Proficient with bookkeeping and accounting software - Ability to adhere to strict deadlines - Excellent mathematical skills - Ability to remain focused for extended periods - Advanced written communication skills - Strong attention to detail - Advanced computer skills - High level of integrity and attention to detail when handling sensitive financial transactions - Ability and willingness to learn new banking platforms and adapt to changing operational processes Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance - Previous experience working as a treasury professional - Proficient in SAP Required Skills: Treasury operations, Cash flow management, Forecasting, Budgeting, Bookkeeping, Accounting software, SAP, Bank reconciliation, Positive Pay, Fraud prevention, Banking platforms, remain focused for extended periods, Advanced written communication skills Benefits: PPO Medical, Dental, Ortho, Vision, Rx, LTD and Life Insurance, Employee-only premium covered at 100%, Optional Voluntary Benefits: STD, Hospital, Critical Illness, Accident, Discounted Pet Insurance, Pre-Tax Flex Spending Accounts: Health and/or Dependent Care, 11.5 Paid Holidays per calendar year, Paid Community Involvement Volunteer Day, 401K Plan, 100% match on employee’s contribution, up to 5%, Employee discounts on Navien products, Discounted Tickets-hotels, amusement parks, sports events, On site EV Chargers, Life Style Spending Account: You choose-- gas, pet care, financial advisor, gym membership, Monday Lunches
