Associate Designer Graphic

Summary: Nautica is seeking an Associate Graphic Designer to contribute to the development of seasonal concepts for Men’s apparel graphics. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative designs while leveraging trend awareness and creativity to meet brand and financial goals. Responsibilities: - Design innovative Men’s apparel graphics that are aligned with overall seasonal design direction - Creatively explore all apparel graphics, new techniques and materials - Collaborate to develop creative typographic and layout solutions - Use trend intelligence and an understanding of the current and historical business to design and execute specific categories - Develop strong working relationships with cross functional team members (Merchandising, Production and Design) through communication and problem solving - Understand the fundamentals of the production process as it impacts graphic design projects - Adapt all approved layouts to various formats - Prepare inspiration/trend boards using creative methods - Manage deadlines in accordance with the corporate calendar - Maintain project libraries; compile all reference material together with program files Required Qualifications: - Must have experience within apparel, (tees, hoodies, etc.) - Ability to innovate and think creatively - Strong sketching skills - Understanding of the youth market and Aero customer - Ability to multi-task and shift priorities - Excellent organizational and communication skills - Proficiency in, Photoshop, & Illustrator Required Skills: Apparel design, Sketching, Photoshop, Illustrator, Trend awareness, Multi-tasking
