About the opportunity
We are seeking a highly driven Business Team Associate to join our Strategy and Operations team.
Do you have hands-on experience driving growth through acquisition funnels, customer onboarding journeys, and conversion optimization initiatives?

As part of our Acquire team, you will help define and execute the strategies that drive customer acquisition and sustainable growth. You will own critical growth initiatives end-to-end, leveraging data, business insights, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize conversion funnels and customer onboarding journeys. Your work will directly influence business performance, customer experience, and the achievement of our growth objectives.
In this role, you will:
Own the performance and strategic roadmap of the Acquire segment, developing a deep understanding of business drivers, customer behavior, and operational processes.
Monitor and analyze acquisition performance, conversion funnels, and core business KPIs to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and customer experience improvements.
Build robust business cases, evaluating costs, benefits, risks, and expected business impact for investment and growth initiatives.
Drive high-impact initiatives end-to-end from initial strategic design to delivery execution as well as ongoing improvement and management.
Act as a key cross-functional connector, between other departments at N26, including Product & Tech, Data Analytics, Growth, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operations, and more.
Present analyses, recommendations, and progress updates to C-suite and executive stakeholders.
Contribute to strategic planning, helping define objectives at both segment and team level.
Strengthen core business capabilities,by improving processes, governance, stakeholder alignment, and execution frameworks across the organization.
What you need to be successful:
Background:
You have 5+ years of experience, preferably in consulting, tech, startups, banking or corporate strategy roles (not including internships).
You have experience working with some of these topics: growth, funnel optimization, subscription models, customer engagement, product-led growth.
You have experience leading cross-functional projects end-to-end (from ideation to execution) and collaborating with diverse teams to drive strategic outcomes.
You have experience putting together business cases and making data-driven recommendations.
You have experience diving deep into metrics and KPIs, detecting trends, building spreadsheets and models to help diagnose and steer business performance.
You have proven external partner management experience and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
You have at least graduated with a Bachelor degree, preferably in Economics, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field from a top-tier university. MBA/Masters degree is a strong plus.
Skills:
Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders across departments to develop ideas, identify opportunities and resolve conflicts.
Ability to understand key business drivers and proactively recommend solutions that can be effectively supported by data.
A growth mindset and agile approach to problem-solving are key.
You possess exceptional analytical and Excel skills.
You have knowledge of SQL and are able to independently acquire relevant data and generate insights.
You have strong visualisation and storytelling skills with Powerpoint/Google slides.
Passion for the banking industry, fintech, and an interest in deepening your knowledge on how N26 works.
