Engineering Intern

Summary: Motion is a company specializing in high-tech automation solutions for industrial automation across the United States. The Engineering Intern will perform basic engineering calculations, assist in preparing reports, and collaborate with other employees to provide engineering assistance on defined problems. Responsibilities: - Follow good documentation practices, ensuring its compliance and accuracy - Learn how to create, maintain, and control a quality management system (QMS) - Adhere to all required regulations, including ISO 9001:2015 - Gather internal data to report trends and monitor performance - Support site initiatives and internal audits - Troubleshoot manufacturing, inspection, and test processes, as applicable - Outline critical process flows and assist with their execution Required Qualifications: - High school diploma required - Enrollment in Bachelor's or Master's curriculum in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Quality Engineering - Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software, with experience in Microsoft Visio a plus - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability and willingness to abide by including ISO 9001:2015 internal standards and other regulatory agencies - Strong written and verbal communication skills - High Attention to detail Required Skills: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, Quality management system, ISO 9001 2015, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Analytical skills, work as part of a team
