A Day in the Life:
As a Raw Materials Planner, you will take charge of driving the seamless flow of materials that power the company’s success. You’ll own the end-to-end planning process ensuring raw materials are available at the right time, in the right quantities, and at peak efficiency to meet and exceed sales objectives. Leveraging advanced planning systems and cutting-edge software tools, you’ll generate and manage purchase orders, optimize inventory levels, and actively track supply orders from initiation to fulfillment. You will play a critical role in keeping operations running at full speed anticipating needs, solving challenges in real time, and ensuring supply plans are executed flawlessly.
The Impact You'll Make:
- Elaborate Weekly/monthly/annual supply plans and assure that purchase orders are placed accordingly.
- Generate shipping instruction to international logistics team. Assure that orders are being picked up and follow up the arrival to country.
- Confirm purchase orders (PO) with local vendors including delivery date, quantity, unit of measure, etc.
- Build good work relationship with vendors and others cross functional team members.
- Check for potential stock-outs due to purchasing delivery delay. Take immediate action to ensure material availability by expediting PO and expediting for earlier delivery when necessary.
- Ensure timely goods delivery.
- Control of inventory in production and out sales.
- Keep the digital and physical files of proof of deliver (POD).
- Post Goods Issue (PGI) of orders. Create Remitos, releases forms and Code of Transfer Operations (COT).
Who You Are:
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or similar field of study
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in international procurement, material planning
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in inventory management
- Computer Skills Desired: Advance Microsoft Office Skills. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software Experience -- SAP
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Strong understanding of Material requirements planning (MRP)
