Winter 2027 Tax Intern (Latham)

Responsibilities: - Prepares individual 1040 Returns, 990 Checklists, and 1041 Estates and Trusts - Assists in contacting clients for additional information - Assists with other administrative work, including updating and organizing CCH Axcess client information - Conducts tax research (Employee Retention Credit and Difference between Tax and Book) - Prepares QuickBooks journal entries Required Qualifications: - Working towards the completion of a bachelor or master's degree in accounting or a related discipline - Ability to work collaboratively with others Preferred Qualifications: - Interest in pursuing CPA certification desired, but not a requirement Required Skills: 1040 Tax Returns, 990 Checklists, 1041 Estates and Trusts, CCH Axcess, Tax Research, Tax Planning, QuickBooks Internship Start Date: Start in 2027 Winter
