Job Description
Summary: Mercedes-Benz is a leading automotive manufacturer committed to excellence and innovation. They are seeking an intern to assist with KPI reporting, data analysis, and project management within their production departments.
Responsibilities:
- KPI reporting and performance gap analysis of various KPI's (HpV (Hours Per Vehicle), Repair, Scrap etc.)
- Streamlining data visualization using tools such as Power BI dashboards
- Analyzing monthly Actuals, Forecast and Target deviations
- Quantitative analysis for continuous improvement (CI) projects
- Involvement in reporting as well as the preparation and follow-up of meetings
- Coordination appointments and workshops with the areas of planning, development and production
- Participation in the implementation and further development of project management methods
- Support the MO/CTPC Department with CI projects, administrative tasks and digitalization of processes and reporting
- Working with cross functional teams on ad-hoc projects
- Prepare presentations to support management decision making processes
Required Qualifications:
- Student in Finance/Controlling, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or in a related area and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Project management skills
- Confident English and German skill (oral/written)
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient working in a multi-cultural environment
- Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
- Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor's and Master's degree
- Studies outside of the U.S.A (we are not accepting applications from students who are currently studying in the U.S.A)
- A minimum of 3 semesters of studies in relevant field of study
- Available for 6 months
