Job Description
Summary: MegaMex Foods is one of the fastest growing Mexican food companies, dedicated to reimagining Mexican flavors. The Order Entry/Customer Service Representative will validate orders, communicate with sales staff and clients, and assist with shipping documentation and claims.
Responsibilities:
- Validates order and shipping documents for review
- Retail Customer Service – timely and effective communication to FF sales staff and clients
- Communicates consistently with the transportation department to track shipments and shortages
- Verifies export files and/or research in Main Frame computer system to ensure system matches shipped orders
- Assists with claims and researching POD’s and any additional documentation
- Supports several order entry positions
- Covers the Front desk during absence and lunch breaks
- Cross-train in other positions within the department
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- A High School diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts beyond addition and subtraction
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to establish priorities and work independently with minimal guidance
- Knowledge of most commonly used business systems and software applications in addition to Windows Office and how these systems relate to business processes
