About the AI & Data Organization
Mastercard’s AI & Data organization is responsible for accelerating the enterprise’s use of data and artificial intelligence to drive business growth, operational efficiency, and innovation. The team partners across business units to enable scalable data platforms, advance AI capabilities, and ensure responsible, high-impact application of emerging technologies.
Within this organization, the Enterprise Engagement team focuses on building intelligent systems that guide how AI use cases are discovered, shaped, and executed across the enterprise.
Overview
This role will contribute to the evolution of a traditional intake process into an AI-powered, agent-driven platform that guides users from idea to execution readiness. Rather than executing use cases directly, this role will focus on building the experience, intelligence, and workflows that enable others to execute effectively at scale.
We are intentionally hiring for complementary strengths across candidates. Successful hires will bring depth in either:
• User-facing experience design & engagement, or
• Technical implementation of AI solutions (including agents and workflow integration)

Role
In this role, you will:
• Shape and improve the user experience of discovering, submitting, and refining AI use cases, ensuring clarity, usability, and adoption
• Own key components of the AI-driven intake and engagement platform (e.g., user experience, agent workflows, decision logic, or context layers)
• Take a “do, then automate” approach - leveraging hands-on experience to rapidly transition manual processes into scalable, agent-driven workflows
• Partner with business units to understand real-world needs and translate them into intelligent guidance, decisioning logic, and user experiences
• Collaborate with AI Strategy, Engineering, Legal and Governance teams to integrate enterprise platforms, governance requirements, and capabilities into unified experience
• Influence stakeholders to adopt and rely on the platform as the primary entry point for AI and data initiatives
• Create tangible system artifacts such as agent workflows, decision frameworks, user journeys, and automated guidance
• Gather and synthesize feedback to continuously improve platform intelligence, user experience, and identify high value enterprise AI demand signals

About You
• Undergraduate degree, proven experience in AI, product, consulting, or related domains
• Builder’s mindset with curiosity for emerging AI capabilities
• Pragmatic and outcome oriented, with a bias toward scalable solutions
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and creating structure where it does not exist
• Strong analytical judgment grounded in enterprise business impact
• Able to influence across a matrixed organization without formal authority
• Clear communicator who bridges technical systems and business users
• Strengths aligned to one of the following profiles:
AI Experience & Engagement Lead
• Background in user experience, product, or engagement design
• Proven ability to create guided experiences that drive adoption and clarity
• Experience using AI tools to prototype and refine interaction flows
AI Solutions & Workflow Builder
• Hands on experience building AI or LLM based applications, including agents
• Strong understanding of decision logic, orchestration, and workflow automation
• Experience with APIs, low code/no code tools, or agent frameworks
• Advanced English skills (mandatory)
