Research Lab Technician I

Summary: Mass General Brigham is a not-for-profit organization focused on patient care, research, teaching, and community service. The Research Lab Technician I will work independently under close supervision in a research laboratory, conducting various molecular biological techniques and tissue culture work related to brain tumors. Responsibilities: - Work independently on projects involving the study of brain tumors - Will utilize molecular biology, biochemical, and cell biology techniques - Set up and prepare routine experiments as directed - Lab administrative responsibilities including ordering and tracking of laboratory supplies - Prepares basic solutions - Prepares lab reagents, chemicals, instruments and equipment - Conducts analysis of results Required Qualifications: - BA/BS required preferably in a biological science - Some lab experience in addition to school lab experience is highly desirable - Previous Laboratory Bench Experience Strongly Preferred Required Skills: Molecular biology techniques, Biochemical techniques, Cell biology techniques, Tissue culture, Laboratory bench experience, Preparation of lab reagents, solutions, Laboratory equipment handling Benefits: Comprehensive benefits, Career advancement opportunities, Differentials, Premiums and bonuses as applicable, Recognition programs designed to celebrate your contributions and support your professional growth
