What You Can Expect
Job Description:
As a Staff Signal & Power Integrity Engineer, you will serve as a technical leader driving SI/PI activity, involved in architecture decisions, and cross‑team collaboration. You will be responsible for solving systemic challenges in high‑speed interconnects and power distribution networks, ensuring robust performance across multiple PCB designs.
Detailed responsibilities include:
Lead SI/PI activities for PCBs, and system‑level interconnects. This includes working with PCB layout engineers and PCB fabs to understand design constraints and limitations and define layout guidelines for best performance.
Collaborate across multiple teams (packaging, system, validation) to support silicon characterization, silicon debug, system robustness testing, etc.
Drive technical innovation in modeling, simulation, and measurement correlation.
Support hiring and training for junior engineers, fostering technical growth and consistency across the organization.
Influence design guidelines and standards, ensuring scalability and reliability across product families.
What We're Looking For
General Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical engineering in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Strong knowledge of electromagnetic theory, transmission lines, RF concepts, and analog design principles.
Strong background of high speed SerDes (Architecture, Functional Blocks, Link optimization) and standards (IEEE 802.3, OIF).
4+ years of industry experience in SI/PI, EMI, and high‑speed design.
Proficiency with SI/PI simulation tools (HFSS, SIwave, ADS, HSPICE, Q3D, etc.).
Excellent communication skills for technical presentations and customer engagement.
Experience of using Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), probe station, calibration and measurement.
