About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Power BI Developer to join our Category team in Auckland on a fixed term contract until January 2027.
This is a fantastic chance to make a significant impact in a short time. You will be the go-to Power BI expert in the business, taking ownership of our existing reporting suite and playing a crucial role in the deployment of a new, cutting-edge image recognition software. If you are a data visualization specialist who thrives on turning business questions into data-driven answers, we want to hear from you.
A Day in the Life: As our Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for...
• Maintaining and enhancing our existing portfolio of Power BI dashboards
• Playing a key part in the deployment of our new image recognition software
• Acting as the primary point of contact for all data analytics and reporting queries
• Translating business requirements into technical solutions and actionable insights.
• Supporting the wider category team with various data-related projects
• Developing and documenting processes to improve data accessibility across the business
What You Will Bring
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modelling
• Strong skills in MS Excel
• Proven experience in developing and deploying user-friendly dashboards
• The ability to manage ambiguity and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data for various stakeholders
• A tech-savvy mindset with strong planning and alignment capabilities.
• Experience within the FMCG sector or with scan data will be highly regarded
• A relevant university qualification or Power BI certification is preferred
