Job Description
Summary: Mariner Finance has been providing customers with flexible lending options since 1927, and they are seeking a Servicing Systems Specialist. This role involves assisting employees with issues related to lending and collections activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing project support for various systems and data projects.
Responsibilities:
- Answer calls and assist employees in our branches in resolving issues encountered with lending and collections activities, including system access, error message resolution, how-to instructions, adjustments to customer accounts, technical issues, and other tasks assigned by department leaders
- Support all users on the origination and servicing systems
- Ensure compliance to both company policy and governing laws within the systems
- Become familiar with all reports and new releases of code
- Responsible for testing new code before it goes live
- Ensure the company utilizes all of the benefits our systems have to offer
- Provide project support/management for various systems and data projects as needed
- Provide report management and training for senior management from the servicing system
- Assist with any other ad hoc projects on an as-needed basis
- May perform additional functions depending on market demand and staffing in order to provide consistent quality customer service
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills to include prioritizing and attention to detail
- Demonstration of exceptional interpersonal/customer service skills
- Strong computer knowledge
- Ability to work under conditions of heavy business volume and frequent distractions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in consumer finance or related field
- College degree or completion of college course work
