Job Description
About the role
We are looking for a Lead, Business Process Improvement to drive how our teams work, scale, and deliver. In this role you will partner with stakeholders across the organization to identify inefficiencies, redesign core workflows, and implement durable improvements that move key business metrics. This is a high-impact, cross-functional position for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys turning messy problems into clear processes, and can influence without direct authority. You will operate as both a strategist and a hands-on practitioner, mapping current-state processes, building the case for change, and seeing improvements through to adoption.
What you will do
- Lead end-to-end process improvement initiatives, from discovery and root-cause analysis through design, implementation, and measurement.
- Map current-state workflows, surface bottlenecks, and quantify the impact of inefficiencies using data.
- Design and document future-state processes, including standard operating procedures, controls, and success metrics.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across operations, product, finance, and other teams to align on priorities and secure buy-in.
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions to gather input, build consensus, and drive decisions.
- Define and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of process changes and report progress to leadership.
- Identify opportunities for automation and tooling to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
- Coach and enable teams to sustain improvements after rollout.
Must Haves
- Significant experience leading business process improvement, operations excellence, or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to map, analyze, and redesign complex processes that span multiple teams or functions.
- Strong analytical skills, with comfort using data to diagnose problems and measure outcomes.
- Proven success driving change in ambiguous, fast-moving environments without relying on formal authority.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders.
- Experience facilitating workshops and leading cross-functional working groups.
- Track record of delivering measurable results at scale.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience at a high-growth technology company, online marketplace, or platform business.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
- Hands-on experience with process mapping, workflow, or automation tools.
- Background partnering with operations, product, or finance teams on scaling initiatives.
- Experience defining governance models and operating rhythms for newly designed processes.
