Job Description
Summary: Lockheed Martin is a leader in innovation and integrity, and they are seeking a Reliability Engineer to join their Rotary and Mission Systems team. The role involves contributing to various missile launching system programs, focusing on reliability and maintainability engineering tasks, including analysis and design support, requirements analysis, and collaboration with senior engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis and design support for programs
- Requirements analysis, interface analysis, and operations analysis
- Reliability test and verification
- Collaboration with senior engineers to ensure reliability is crafted into products
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM related discipline, or equivalent combination of education/experience
- One or more years of engineering experience
- Experience with Systems Engineering or related engineering experience
- Must be able to obtain & maintain a Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Reliability and Maintainability Analysis or related analysis engineering experience
- Familiarity with sonar system hardware or Solid State Radar
- Experience communicating and working with DoD personnel
- Understanding of physics of failure and equipment failure troubleshooting
- Experience with large scale system development, integration, and tests
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in model base engineering (MBE)
