Job Description
Summary: Lockheed Martin is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge Advanced Mission Processor systems. As a Test Engineer Associate, you will support the product line by performing testing activities, troubleshooting failures, and documenting issues to ensure the highest standards of quality and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Performing top-level and subassembly testing activities
- Conducting tester certification and calibration
- Troubleshooting test failures for production and field return assets
- Performing acceptance testing in accordance with documented procedures
- Populating test logs and data sheets
- Compiling As-Built Lists (ABL)
- Generating Quality Notifications for hardware deficiencies
- Documenting issues with Special Test Equipment (STE)
Required Qualifications:
- Familiarity with testing LRUs/SRUs using various equipment such as environmental chambers, testers, vibe equipment, multimeters, etc
- General understanding of evaluation/troubleshooting test failures using diagnostic methods and tools
- Experience following process/test procedures in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. Obtaining a security clearance requires US Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of digital circuitry
- Knowledge of circuitry equipment: Oscilloscope, digital multimeter, high frequency measurements, testing, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, perform root cause analysis down to component level
- Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to work in a dynamic, team-based environment
- Able to read drawings and schematics
