Job Description
Summary: Lockheed Martin is a leading aerospace company, and they are seeking a Full-time Early Career Flight Test Instrumentation Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation and checkout of instrumentation systems before each F-16 mission and monitoring flight operations during missions.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and checkout of instrumentation system before each F-16 mission
- Attend flight mission briefings and give instrumentation status to team and pilot
- Monitor instrumentation system during aircraft startup from telemetry van
- Monitor flight operations via mission control room
- Coordinate modification efforts for instrumentation system
- Program instrumentation system for required parameters for telemetry stream and on-board recording configuration
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Basic knowledge of Ethernet protocols and networking concepts
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with coding or scripting
- Experience using laboratory test equipment such as logic analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and multimeters
