Job Description
Summary: Living Spaces is a company that specializes in home furnishings, and they are seeking an Administrative Clerk to perform clerical and administrative duties. The role involves supporting the operations and leadership teams by managing records, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing regular reports, gathering and summarizing data
- Collect and report consistent data
- Support communication and dashboard data
- Drive consistency with reporting with engagement
- Direct team activities by establishing task priorities, scheduling and tracking with Workday assignments, providing guidance, and ensuring the availability of resources
- Format information for internal and external communication including memos, emails, presentations, reports
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures
- Order office supplies and research new products and vendors
- Maintain contact lists
- Book travel arrangements
- Submit and reconcile expense reports
- Provide general support to visitors
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
- Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers
- Communicates and/or coordinates information with various individuals and/or departments
- Tracking financial billing input and invoicing
- Conduct operations in compliance with OSHA standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Meet company standards for productivity
- Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a fast paced, warehouse environment
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Proficient experience in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
