Liquid Personnel is recruiting Social Worker for its client's Child Protection Team at Wolverhampton.

What will your responsibilities be?
Operating within a fast-paced, statutory Child Protection team, you will handle complex cases where children are experiencing, or are at risk of, significant harm.
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Leading section 47 child protection investigations and conducting rigorous, risk-focused assessments.
- Acting as the key worker for children subject to Child Protection (CP) plans, driving multi-agency core groups to ensure actions are completed.
- Managing cases within both Public and Private Law outline (PLO) frameworks, taking timely action to protect children when risks escalate.
- Preparing high-quality statements and assessments for care proceedings, and confidently presenting evidence in Family Court.

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
We need an experienced professional who understands the dynamics of risk, resistance, and parental capacity to change.
- Qualifications: A recognized Social Work degree and current registration with Social Work England.
- Experience: Substantial post-qualified experience specifically within a statutory Child Protection, Assessment, or Safeguarding team.
- Skills: Exceptional risk assessment capabilities, confidence in the courtroom, and the ability to maintain a child-centered focus in highly stressful environments.
- Compliance: Full UK driving license with access to a vehicle, and a valid enhanced DBS check.
