DoD SkillBridge Internship - Special Operations Supervisor

Summary: Lineage is an approved DOD SkillBridge provider offering an internship opportunity for candidates transitioning from military service. The Special Operations Supervisor internship aims to equip interns with the necessary skills to become Maintenance Technicians, while providing operational support to warehouses across the United States and implementing new IT systems. Responsibilities: - Support the implementation of WMS systems in partnership with the Information Technology team - Ensure site inventory meets Lineage operating standards - Train, monitor and provide direct support to front line leaders and hourly team members - Drive site and company-wide metrics including safety standards - Stabilize the operation pre/post WMS conversions or system upgrades - Provide subject matter expertise to unstable facilities Required Qualifications: - Must be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program in accordance with DODI 1322.29 - Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years warehouse experience - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization - Ability to effectively present information and train in both one on one and small group settings - Capable of becoming certified to operate all the equipment used in the warehouse - Exposure to WMS systems or demonstrated aptitude with technology - Demonstrated ability to drive new initiatives pertaining to operations and personnel - Highly proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite - Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed - Must have a Real ID or Valid US Passport - Ability to travel up to 85% Required Skills: WMS systems, Training, presentation Important Skills: Warehouse experience, Interpersonal skills Nice-to-Have Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Flexible work schedule, Travel capability Benefits: Medical, Dental, Basic life and disability insurance benefits, 401k retirement plan, Paid time off, Annual bonus eligibility, A minimum of 7 holidays throughout the calendar year
