Job Description
Summary: Leoforce is a thriving construction company seeking an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Project Manager to support various commercial construction projects. The role involves assisting in project management, budgeting, contract administration, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Support the oversight and management of commercial construction projects from inception to completion
- Assist in developing and managing project budgets, helping to ensure projects are completed within set budget constraints
- Assist with contract administration and management, gaining exposure to contract negotiation processes
- Collaborate with and support a team of professionals to ensure project success
- Help manage project timelines, ensuring milestones are met in a timely manner
- Assist in delivering exceptional customer service, helping to ensure client needs and expectations are met and exceeded
- Monitor project performance and assist in making necessary adjustments to ensure project success
- Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, to support clear communication and project alignment
- Help implement and uphold safety standards and regulations, ensuring all projects are carried out in a safe and responsible manner
- Assist in resolving issues or conflicts that may arise during the project
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry
- Foundational knowledge of project management, contract administration, budgeting, team collaboration, time management, and customer service
- Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Good time management skills, with the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
- Basic understanding of contract processes, with a willingness to develop negotiation skills
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to assist in meeting and exceeding client expectations
- Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to assist in resolving issues and conflicts effectively
- Familiarity with safety regulations and standards within the construction industry
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some experience or exposure to commercial construction projects preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
