Job Summary
The LA Clippers are looking to hire a Director of Partnership Strategy. The Partnership Strategy team drives revenue growth through the development of innovative, insight-led sponsorship opportunities for the LA Clippers and affiliated properties. In this role you’ll support strategic partnership development across the full sales lifecycle—from discovery and ideation through pitch development, inventory strategy, renewals, and upsell opportunities—while serving as a key cross-functional leader across the organization. You will also oversee a small team, helping establish best practices, manage workflow, and support professional development across the Partnership Strategy function.
This is a full-time role based in Inglewood, CA and is eligible for our competitive benefit offering including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan with company contribution, Well-Being Allowance, and more. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts and NBA games.
What You Will Do
Lead the partnership strategy and pitch development process by collaborating with Partnership Sales and internal stakeholders to create customized, insight-driven sponsorship solutions
Manage, mentor, and develop a small team, providing day-to-day guidance, feedback, and support across partnership strategy, sales materials, research, and inventory management initiatives.
Develop compelling sales materials including partnership proposals, category presentations, valuation narratives, recap materials, and renewal presentations
Create innovative partnership platforms, programs, and assets that drive new revenue opportunities and enhance partner value
Serve as a primary liaison between Partnership Sales and internal departments to align business priorities and support partnership execution
Oversee partnership inventory strategy and management within the team’s CRM platform, including asset tracking, pricing strategy, and NBA benchmark reporting
Manage and optimize the department’s sales stack and third-party research resources, including vendors such as YouGov, Vision Insights, Nielsen, The.Team, and Relo Metrics
Provide strategic support throughout the partnership exploration process, including category research, prospect strategy, sales calls, and market analysis
Partner closely with Partnership Marketing leadership to support renewals, upsell initiatives, and long-term partner growth strategies
Identify incremental revenue opportunities tied to premium moments, playoffs, tentpole events, and emerging assets
Support and manage partnership opportunities across Clippers-related properties and events, including Intuit Dome, The Kia Forum, and other affiliated properties
Your Background, Skills and Qualifications
8+ years of experience in partnership strategy, sponsorship sales, sports marketing, brand consulting, or related fields
Strong understanding of the sports and entertainment sponsorship landscape, including valuation methodologies and integrated marketing solutions
Proven experience developing high-level, client-facing presentations and strategic sales narratives
Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Experience working with CRM systems, sponsorship analytics, and research platforms preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Passion for sports, entertainment, live events, and innovative brand partnerships

About Intuit Dome:
Opened in August 2024, Intuit Dome is the new home of the LA Clippers and will host hundreds of sporting events and concerts each year. Located in Inglewood, Calif., Intuit Dome is built different -- it redefines fans’ expectations for live experiences and change the music landscape in Los Angeles.
Host of the 2026 NBA All-Star game and Olympic Basketball in 2028, Intuit Dome is over 1 million square feet and features our team training center, business operations offices, five full-sized basketball courts, an 80,000 square foot outdoor plaza and a double-sided Halo Board composed of more than an acre of LED.
Compensation
The range for this position is $125,000 - $140,000 annual compensation. Compensation package offered will be based on multiple individualized factors, including a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
The role is classified as exempt.
