Job Description
Summary: Kinective is a fast-growing company empowering banks and credit unions to shape the future of banking through innovative technology. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between product strategy and technical implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and ensure successful delivery of features that meet business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Product Managers to translate product vision and strategy into clear, actionable releases and technical requirements
- Conduct detailed gap analysis, feasibility studies, and impact assessments for new product features and enhancements
- Define and document functional and non-functional requirements into epics, break epics down into deliverable user stories, and partner with the technical team to craft acceptance criteria
- Act as the primary technical liaison between the Product, Engineering, and Business teams, ensuring smooth collaboration
- Work with software architects and developers to evaluate system capabilities and propose scalable solutions
- Support API design, system integrations, and data modeling efforts for new features and platform enhancements
- Collaborate with QA teams to define test strategies, ensure test coverage, and validate feature releases
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), working with stakeholders to validate that the product meets business expectations
- Troubleshoot and escalate issues efficiently to ensure timely resolution
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in technical business analysis, product management, or a similar role in a technology-driven company
- Technical experience working with APIs, system integrations, and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Working knowledge of SQL, data structures, and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Familiarity with agile tools like Jira, Confluence, and Aha!
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional product environments
