Job Description
Summary: Kia America is creating award-winning products and redefining value in the automotive industry. The Regional Sales Operations Analyst will support regional sales operations and assist District Sales Managers in achieving their objectives, with a focus on day-to-day operations and performance monitoring.
Responsibilities:
- Support Regional Sales Manager in Day-to-Day operations
- Support District Sales Managers in their achievement of objectives and daily tasks
- Monitor retail and wholesale performance up to the regional level
- Support all regional sales positions – Distribution, Dealer Development, and Marketing
- Miscellaneous programs, projects and assignments as determined and requested by Regional Sales Manager
- This position supports the Regional Sales Managers in day-to-day sales operations to maximize retail and wholesale, by assisting in the organization of District projects and daily communications with the field
- Travel with District Sales Managers to assist with their job responsibilities to help achieve targets, and complete tasks by given deadlines
- Monitor retail and wholesale performance through the development and distribution of sales reports
- Support all regional sales positions by assisting each department (Distribution, Dealer Development, and Marketing) with administrative duties
- Coordinate ad hoc programs, projects and assignments as determined and requested by Regional Sales Manager
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- 0-3 years' work or internship experience preferred- Analyst assignment
- Knowledge of automotive manufacturers and/or distributors and their relationship with their dealers is a plus for Analyst assignment
- Occasional travel may be required domestically and/or internationally
- May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ability to relocate to a new location if requested by company
- Intermediate PC skills in a windows-based environment
- Well organized, with the ability to complete projects as assigned
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be self initiating; able to work under minimal supervision and under high pressure and stress with multiple same time deadlines
- Excellent communication skills required (written and oral)
