Job Description
Summary: Keysight Technologies is at the forefront of technology innovation, delivering breakthroughs in electronic design and communication solutions. They are hiring an IT Engineer to support and evolve their modern communication ecosystem, focusing on enterprise voice services and collaboration platforms to enhance user experience for over 15,000 employees worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations of enterprise voice services: VOIP (SIP), Session Border Controllers (SBCs), PSTN number management, call routing, emergency calling (E911) across a Global Enterprise
- Work closely with a global team, supporting operations mainly in Americas region but will work with users across all Keysight sites
- Configure and support hybrid conferencing systems, physical room systems, VOIP desk phones, peripherals, and AV components
- Engage with 3rd party Vendors and Suppliers for support of managed products
- Provision and support Cloud-based web conferencing platforms such as Zoom and Webex
- Provide operational support for Slack and Microsoft Teams, including troubleshooting and feature enablement
- Partner with collaboration product owners and network/identity/messaging teams on cross‑tower issues
- Participate in configuration changes, upgrades, testing, and documentation
- Monitor service health and drive improvements in reliability and user experience
- Assist in problem management and root‑cause analysis
- Maintain documentation aligned with Keysight writing standards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or equivalent
- 1–2 years of experience in voice, conferencing systems, AV, or collaboration platforms
- Understanding of SIP, RTP, dial plans, PBX/SBC concepts
- Familiarity with Slack, Microsoft Teams, or similar enterprise collaboration platforms
- Hands‑on automation experience building simple flows/apps with Microsoft Power Automate/Power Apps for operational tooling (e.g., license assignment, ticket triage, change templates, notifications)
- Exposure to AI‑assisted admin/dev tools (e.g., Copilot for M365, GitHub Copilot) to speed troubleshooting, scripting, and documentation—used responsibly with Keysight policies
- Understanding of IP networking fundamentals
- Strong communication and customer‑centric mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to AV/Meeting room systems (Microsoft Teams Rooms, Logitech, Poly, Neat)
- Knowledge of Wi‑Fi, WAN, SD‑WAN
- Python scripting interest or foundational certifications (e.g., CCNA)
- Experience with monitoring systems or ITSM tools (ServiceNow experience is desired)
