Litigation/Professional Liability Associate

Summary: Kaufman Dolowich LLP is seeking a Litigation Associate to join their Professional Liability practice in Hackensack, New Jersey. The role involves managing a full litigation caseload, taking and defending depositions, and maintaining strong client relationships. Responsibilities: - Manage a full litigation caseload from inception through resolution - Take and defend depositions - Oversee and participate in all aspects of written discovery - Prepare discovery and substantive motions and present oral arguments - Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients through regular reporting and case updates Required Qualifications: - JD degree - Admission to the New Jersey Bar - Superior legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills - Exceptional attention to detail - Strong organizational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications: - At least one year of relevant experience is preferred, but not required Required Skills: JD degree, New Jersey Bar admission Important Skills: legal research, legal writing Benefits: Discretionary and billable hours-based bonus program, Robust benefits offering for full-time employees
