Civil Project Engineer - Internship available

Summary: JWright Companies is seeking a Civil Project Engineer intern to oversee and manage all phases of civil construction projects. The role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, conducting site inspections, preparing engineering documentation, and managing project budgets and schedules. Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage all phases of civil construction projects from inception to completion - Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and deadlines are met - Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, ensure compliance with safety standards, and address any issues promptly - Prepare and review engineering plans, designs, and documentation - Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively - Utilize project management software and tools to track project milestones and deliverables Required Qualifications: - Oversee and manage all phases of civil construction projects from inception to completion - Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and deadlines are met - Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, ensure compliance with safety standards, and address any issues promptly - Prepare and review engineering plans, designs, and documentation - Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively - Utilize project management software and tools to track project milestones and deliverables - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil construction project management - Proficiency in project management software and engineering design tools - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Valid driver's license and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) - Ability to pass a drug test Preferred Qualifications: - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus Required Skills: Civil Construction Project Management, Project Management Software, Engineering Design Tools, Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Analytical Skills, Decision Making
