Job Description
Summary: Jones Logistics is a rapidly growing company in the transportation sector, seeking a Logistics Customer Service Representative. The role involves providing information and resolving issues for customer accounts, ensuring excellent customer service through effective communication and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate and interact daily with internal and external customers. This includes Generac, drivers, spotters and other Carriers. Always ensuring 100% customer satisfaction with on-time delivery and accuracy
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer through open and interactive communication
- Understanding timeliness and accuracy are skill sets that will be needed by a successful LCSR
- Resolve customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives and follow up to ensure resolution
- This individual will be a liaison on-site for our drivers and spotters. Listening to their concerns, resolving them and involving appropriate management when necessary
- This individual will work in our billing program called TMW – ensuring all billing is done in a timely and accurate manner
- Working on Queue type system for entering dispatched loads from Generac. Ensuring timely and accurate data entry with details for our dispatch team
- LCSR’s are responsible for assisting the customer and drivers on locating specific trailers through Fleet Locate, Xtra Lease, etc
- LCSR’s are responsible for gathering BOL’s and paperwork to provide to or receive from drivers picking up or delivering to other facilities or carriers
- LCSR’s will be responsible for scanning of BOL’s and POD’s into our system and helping the customer find BOL’s/POD’s as needed
- Yard Checks, checking on trailers and other task in the yard may be needed during the LCSR’s shift
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Provide information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer account might face with accuracy and efficiency
- Work with our drivers and spotters on-site resolving problems and making sure that all loads go out in a timely manner
- Problem-solving should come naturally and they must be comfortable with resolving conflict
- Able to troubleshoot and investigate customer requests if they don't have enough information
- Excel at working both in a team environment and independently
- Scan in POD's and work in TMW (our billing program)
- Solid computer skills
- Communicate and interact daily with internal and external customers
