The Opportunity
The Senior Manager, Logistics Operations ANZ is a new role based in Sydney.
The role would be accountable for the end‑to‑end performance, strategy, and continuous improvement of logistics operations across Australia and New Zealand. The role will ensure safe, compliant, cost‑effective, and customer‑focused distribution operations, leveraging internal capabilities and third‑party logistics (3PL) partners to deliver best‑in‑class service aligned with business growth, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end warehousing and distribution across Australia & New Zealand, ensuring safe, compliant, cost‑effective, and customer‑focused product flow (receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, inventory).
Own and optimise 3PL partnerships: manage contracts, governance, SLAs, and partner performance to deliver reliable service and continuous improvement.
Define and execute the regional warehousing and distribution strategy aligned with global supply chain priorities, driving network design, systems, and transformation initiatives.
Deliver continuous improvement in productivity, accuracy, lead times, and cost through process optimisation, automation, and strong stakeholder partnerships.
Drive financial and performance accountability: set and manage budgets, control costs, forecast, and report KPIs across safety, quality, service, cost, and inventory.
Ensure regulatory compliance, audit readiness, risk mitigation, and business continuity across internal and external operations.
Build and lead high‑performing operational teams: coach leaders, develop capability and succession pipelines, and act as the primary ANZ escalation point for warehousing and distribution issues.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in engineering/supply chain or related field
Strong end‑to‑end knowledge of warehousing, distribution, and logistics operations in a regulated environment.
Proven experience managing 3PL providers and complex supplier networks.
Strong commercial acumen, including cost management and contract governance.
Demonstrated ability to lead operational change and continuous improvement programs.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across functions and senior leadership.
Data‑driven decision‑making and performance management capability.
