Position Overview
Finance Data Strategy & Management (FDM) is a dynamic, diverse and inclusive organization that offers opportunities to connect with business partners to shape the future of Johnson & Johnson Finance. The group drives innovative data governance and data management strategies and solutions in support of the global SigniFi initiative. SigniFi is focused on reshaping the way we work as a finance team for reporting & analytics for the Johnson & Johnson Finance function.

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Finance Data Governance Lead Analyst, located in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
The Finance Data Governance Lead Analyst will execute and support data governance processes in alignment with the Common Information Model, working across teams to analyze data issues, improve data quality, and strengthen operational consistency in support of business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Governance Analysis & Execution - Execute core data governance activities to support the accuracy of financial data across actuals, planning, and reporting.
Policy & Documentation Support - Maintain and update data management policies, standards, procedures, and supporting documentation including Data Scope, Data Dictionary, L3/L4, DTPs, and work instructions.
Data Quality Analysis - Analyze data quality issues, support rule monitoring, and help identify root causes and corrective actions in alignment with the Common Information Model.
Compliance & Controls Support - Support adherence to financial data management practices aligned with relevant internal controls, policies, and standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration - Partner with finance, master data, and other stakeholders to gather business requirements, support data stewardship, and address data-related needs.
Tools & Reporting - Use and support governance tools such as master data intake tools, ServiceNow, and related reporting solutions to monitor and improve processes.
Training & Knowledge Sharing - Support the development of training materials and documentation to reinforce data governance principles and consistent ways of working.
Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities to improve finance data processes and contribute to data governance and transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably within finance, accounting or technology. A master’s degree is preferred.
Experience and Skills Required:
3-5 years of finance, financial systems, finance data processes, or data governance experience required.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify issues, and support practical solutions required.
Demonstrated learning agility, intellectual curiosity, and initiative, with the ability to apply new knowledge in a fast-paced, complex environment with competing priorities required.
Strong Microsoft Excel, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills required.
Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively across evolving business needs required.
Preferred:
Experience in SAP and with finance master data, hierarchies, or governance workflows preferred.
Experience with data profiling, data quality analysis, governance reporting, or issue tracking preferred.
Experience creating and maintaining process documentation, desktop procedures, or work instructions preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Visio, Power BI, or similar process-mapping and reporting tools preferred.
Other:
Ability to be at the New Brunswick, NJ site at least three (3) days per week is required and may travel up to 10% of the time.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$94,000 - $151,800
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
