Accountabilities:
- Analyze, document, and improve business processes, operational workflows, and system requirements to support organizational reporting and analytics needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and end users to gather requirements, define system specifications, and recommend scalable technology solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain applications, reporting solutions, interfaces, and workflow enhancements using enterprise systems and BI platforms.
- Ensure the integrity, quality, and reliability of data through testing, validation, quality assurance procedures, and end-user acceptance testing.
- Develop and execute test plans, document testing results, and support the implementation of system fixes, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for reporting tools, applications, and workflows while managing incidents and change requests.
- Assist with data integration initiatives and support the development of reporting and analytics capabilities across enterprise systems.
- Mentor junior analysts and end users by providing training, guidance, and support on BI tools and reporting processes.
- Coordinate with vendors and technical teams to resolve software issues and improve system performance.
- Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay current with emerging technologies, BI tools, and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, Associate’s degree, or equivalent professional experience in business, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of business analyst experience within information technology environments.
- Proven experience leading requirements gathering sessions and documenting business and technical requirements for large-scale IT initiatives.
- Strong background in planning, coordinating, and supporting enterprise-level technology projects.
- Hands-on experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Cognos, Oracle, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, enterprise reporting environments, and data integration processes.
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate technical information into actionable business insights.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle EBS or similar financial platforms is highly valued.
- Basic SQL knowledge and the ability to read, write, and maintain SQL queries are preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Certifications such as PMP or IBM Cognos Certified Professional are considered a plus.
