What this job involves:
As a Senior Financial Analyst at JLL, you will work onsite with our client to oversee the finance full cycle for real estate and facilities capital projects. In this dynamic contractor role, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on budget planning, forecasting, and project cost management to help support strategic decision-making and drive project outcomes. What your day-to-day will look like:
Analyze, track, and report the financial performance of capital projects, supporting large real estate and facilities portfolios
Prepare detailed budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to inform client and project leadership decisions
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities specific to project accounting and capital expenditure
Collaborate closely with project managers, facilities leads, and client stakeholders for accurate financial data capture and reporting
Identify risks and opportunities in project finances, recommend solutions, and proactively support compliance and regulatory requirements
Develop and present clear financial reports and dashboards tailored to internal and client audiences
Support ongoing process improvements, leveraging new tools and methods to streamline workflows—reflecting our culture of collaboration and innovation
Foster a team environment where wellbeing is supported and inclusivity is championed across interactions
Guide junior team members, sharing knowledge and contributing to a learning culture that empowers everyone to thrive
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial analysis, with a focus on capital projects or real estate portfolios
Advanced proficiency with financial systems and Excel, including complex financial modeling and data analysis
Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and full-cycle accounting processes for project delivery
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex financial information
Proven ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with a demonstrated commitment to accuracy
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines under tight timelines
Knowledge of relevant compliance and regulatory guidelines for capital project accounting
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or CPA/CFA designation
Experience in large-scale real estate, facilities management, or capital project environments
Familiarity with JLL, Lendlease, or similar real estate service providers on client site operations
Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or other financial visualization/reporting tools
Previous exposure to automated financial systems and tech-enabled workflow improvements
Track record of driving process innovation and continuous improvement within project finance
Understanding of real estate market trends and their financial impacts
Ability to build and nurture stakeholder relationships—locally and globally
