JLL are responsible for the delivery of property services to DFAT and their estate across the globe. These property services include the asset and facilities management of their owned estate that encompasses 125 built assets within in 54 countries.
What this opportunity involves:
As the Regional Operations Lead, Pacific, you will be accountable for delivery and ongoing management of contracted services to DFAT’s Pacific Portfolio, including the following:
• Facilities and Property Management, including shared support services;
• Technical support for the delivery of Facilities Management services;
• Technical revere and advice for Minor Capital and Project Opex delivery;
• Financial Management and Reporting;
• Additional Services (as and when required by DFAT);
• Oversight of any Out of Scope Services provided to DFAT by JLL.
The position can be based at the Canberra DFAT office, or the Australian Embassies in Port Moresby or Suva, and is the key, client facing point of contact for all Regional operations issues for DFAT’s Estate Management Team, Post senior stakeholders and JLL senior management.
You will have overall responsibility for ensuring the JLL Regional Operations Team, under the direction of Sr. Facilities Managers, is adequately resourced, trained and supported to deliver the full scope of contracted services.
A snapshot of the role;
Technical leadership and support for the delivery of Facilities Management and Property Management services.
Drive innovative thinking and new ways of delivering services and property outcomes in challenging locations.
Facilities and Property Management services are delivered in accordance with the contract and to minimize impact to Post operations and diplomatic visitations and events.
Build and develop effective client/stakeholder relationships across multiple levels of the Client organization.
Create an environment of trust that promotes teamwork, co-operation and high performance through recognizing and rewarding excellence.

To be successful, you will have strong multidiscipline technical skills in commercial and residential Facilities Management delivery. An excellent communicator with strong presence, high level presentation skills, strong verbal and written communication. A strong construction background as well as architectural knowledge would be advantageous in this role.
You will have the ability to lead and mentor the team and support them to shape their careers. The star candidate will have experience to work in a Diplomatic environment and management of remote team and facilities!
