Analyst - IB Technology

Summary: Jefferies is a Global Investment Bank with diverse capabilities, and they are seeking an Analyst for their Technology Investment Banking Group. This role involves supporting senior bankers in transaction execution, conducting industry research, and mentoring junior analysts. Responsibilities: - Directly support senior bankers with day-to-day transaction due diligence and execution - Draft and participate in the presentation of marketing / new business pitches, confidential offering memoranda and management presentations - Develop target lists for potential buyers, investors and strategic partners - Conduct in-depth industry research and trend analysis - Perform complex financial modeling and valuation analysis - Mentor and train junior Analysts Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree with strong academic record - 1-3 years investment banking transaction advisory execution experience - Highly motivated, confident and passionate - Lives in San Francisco or willing to relocate - Superb communication, interpersonal and presentation skills - Proven ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines Preferred Qualifications: - Support engagement teams in equity financing, sell-side, buy-side and general advisory M&A engagements, within the Technology Enabled Services investment banking group - Create pitch materials - Oversee due diligence Required Skills: Financial Modeling, Valuation Analysis, Investment Banking, M&A, Equity Capital Markets, Transaction Execution, Industry Research, Due Diligence, Communication, Interpersonal, Presentation
