Your Team:
Active Investing-Fixed Income, Fundamental Equity, Real Assets and Unit Investment trust capabilities
Index Investing, Solutions and SMAs -Index investing, Solutions and SMAs capabilities
Client & Product Lifecycle -Onboarding and product changes, with the objective of standardizing these processes.
Platform Management -System and process integrity, continuous improvements and automation efforts.
Your Role
Act as a subject matter expert across ETF and SMA operational processes, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution of daily, monthly, and ad hoc deliverables.
Own and manage end to end lifecycle activities including AUM reporting
Support month end and regulatory reporting requirements, including Board, Compliance, and Client reports, with a strong focus on accuracy, controls, and adherence to SLAs.
Collaborate closely with Trading, Index Providers, Custodians, Fund Accounting, Compliance, and Technology teams to resolve escalations and ensure seamless operational support.
Accurately process all the BAU requests and client instructions/requests within the established time frames
Process Documentation: Document, Maintain, and Review in detail for smooth performance of activity.
Provide and engage daily reporting to Portfolio Managers, Portfolio Managers Analysts and Capital Markets
Interpret corporate actions and apply information on a Trade date -1 basis to ensure smooth open on trading systems and exchanges
Leverages internal or custodian reporting for issue resolution and interpretation, escalates issues where appropriate
Transaction processing and ad-hoc tasks as allocated by front office teams
Follow documentation, identify gaps in processes and escalate accordingly by effectively communicating with investments, trading teams, front office teams, technology, investment services teams and other users to resolve issues and escalate problems to the appropriate groups
Provide research support by producing reports and performing data entry tasks including the daily maintenance of critical spreadsheets used in the investment decision process.
Expect to work with stakeholders located in global offices in NA, APAC, & EMEA
The Experience You Bring:
A minimum of one or more years’ relevant experience in Investment banking/management industry is preferred.
Technical Abilities and/or other Specialized Skills
It is essential that the analyst has a very good understanding of various asset class that includes Exchange Traded Funds and SMA.
Knowledge of Investment Business, Buy-side Processes, Trade Life Cycle and Investment Products
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel with working knowledge of Power Query and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
Aptitude for rapid adaptation to new systems/software
Experience in the front or middle office applications is preferred and FactSet, Ruckus, Audit deposit, XTF and Charles River OMS (CRD), CRIMS, Bloomberg, etc.}
Effective stakeholder communication skills to support Portfolio Managers, investment teams, and global operations with timely and accurate data.
Skills in Microsoft - Excel, Word, Power BI and preferred
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
Responsible & Accountable for the work allocated end to end, self-managed & proactive.
Process Documentation- Draft, Document, Maintain, review in detail for smooth performance of activity.
He/she be able to identify and collaborate with various teams to correct any issues in data and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all information received and reported.
Ability to rapidly learn the REITs and ETF industry
Excellent verbal and written skills
Must be able to multi-task different initiatives at once, take direction well, and strong follow through skills needed
Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a sense of urgency
Proficiency in VBS and Excel, investment back to middle office experience a plus
General knowledge of financial investment markets.
Take complete ownership and follow through with tasks until completion.
Must also demonstrate flexibility, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn while ensuring that all deadlines are met.
We should possess strong written and oral communication skills able to interact well with all levels of management.
Academic requirements
A master’s degree is required. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would provide the knowledge, skills and ability required.
