What do we expect from you?
Drive business partner base (open, develop, close business partners) according to the Category Business plan and Purchasing Manual.
Lead the business performance in the business team together with all members of the team.
Together with the business partners, continuously strive for lowest possible cost to contribute to the total lower cost for IKEA products.
Responsibility to build professional and long-term relationship with business partners as well as internal stakeholders through IKEA way of doing business.
Responsibility to follow up and deliver agreed goals agreed in the action plans.
Continuously motivate and professionally challenge business partners to take ownership for their own performance as agreed in business partners action plans.
Actively contribute to new product development process as well as product life cycle management (in Purchasing Development).
Pro-actively identify and implement new business opportunities.
Be an ambassador of IKEA values and culture in everyday work.

Knowledge of business partners base, understanding of value chain, capabilities, material, and services.
Finance for non-finance knowledge
Legal knowledge - understanding of purchase agreement package.
Strong business ownership and strive for collaboration with team and business partners.
Passion to lead and inspire others and willingness to learn and develop self and others.
Interest to explore, early adopter in terms of change and desire to make positive impact.
Strong motivation to develop, especially to accelerate and strengthen people leadership skills, and participate in defined competence development activities.
