Job Description
Summary: Instron is a company that designs and manufactures mechanical testing systems used by major manufacturers. They are seeking an Account Representative in Technical Inside Sales to help customers solve real challenges by understanding their needs and guiding them toward practical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Understand customer needs and guide them toward practical solutions
- Learn about our products and apply that knowledge to real-world problems
- Take initiative to follow up on inquiries and uncover opportunities
- Work independently while staying connected to a small, supportive team
- Keep customer interactions organized and efficient using CRM tools
Required Qualifications:
- A natural problem-solver who enjoys figuring things out
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Comfort with technology and an interest in technical concepts (we'll train you!)
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a small, close-knit team
- Associate's degree or higher is preferred; technical degree and equivalent experience are also valued
