Quality Intern

Summary: Instant Systems Inc. is seeking a Quality Intern to support the Quality Department in various areas of Quality systems. The intern will participate in documentation review, assist with inspections, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs are met and standards are adhered to. Responsibilities: - Support documentation review to ensure completeness and accuracy - Help maintain and update SOPs, work instructions, forms, and raw material specifications - Participate in continual improvement activities - Assist with incoming, in-process and final inspections as needed - Assist with scanning and filing of records - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality initiatives - Other Responsibilities as assigned Required Qualifications: - currently enrolled or a college graduate pursuing a STEM degree, having completed at least two years of undergraduate coursework - GPA: to be in good academic standing - Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint - highly organized and detail-oriented - a positive can-do attitude - solid company-centric ideology - creative problem-solving skills - the ability to balance multiple priorities - core values of honesty and respect - a thirst for learning - the desire to be challenged Preferred Qualifications: - thrive in an autonomous work environment - have a LEAN mindset - are the first person to help - seek out opportunities to bring added value Required Skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Quality systems, SOP maintenance, Documentation review Benefits: Corporate Events, Live NFK internship program, Skill growth opportunities, Working with energetic & creative problem solvers, A mission worthy of your energy and knowledge, Hands on opportunity to apply and test your knowledge in a professional work environment
