Supply Chain Coordinator

Summary: Imperial Dade is the leading independently owned distributor of foodservice packaging and janitorial supplies in North America. The Supply Chain Coordinator will manage inventory and purchase order processing, collaborating with Buyers and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Responsibilities: - Create, release, and track purchase orders accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and inventory requirements - Develop a relationship with the buying team in order to effectively understand our products and the relationships with our source suppliers - Develop a relationship with our source suppliers to ensure the timely resolution of any issues with purchase order processing - Urgently follow up with business partners to get updates on deliveries, adjust delivery parameters, or to address service issues. Press for immediate answers to meet deadlines and maintain desired service levels - Provide support as needed to the daily ordering and inventory activities of the Purchasing Department - Problem-solving skills: Able to use logic and accepted methods to solve problems and identify effective solutions Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree, in a related discipline preferred - Prior purchasing, inventory management and supply chain-related experience preferred - Computer literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
