Job Description
Summary: Imperial Auto USA Corporation is a rapidly expanding U.S. operation seeking a Financial Accountant to support their finance function. In this role, you will work closely with the Finance Controller, gaining hands-on experience in financial operations and helping to establish scalable systems.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the right hand to the Finance Controller in a newly created role
- Gain hands-on experience across AP, AR, reporting, and financial operations
- Be part of a high-growth organization with IPO aspirations
- Develop expertise in SAP and end-to-end finance operations
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions
- Support monthly close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Perform bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with financial reporting, MIS, and data management (aligned with intake notes)
- Support tax filings, compliance activities, and regulatory documentation
- Help implement process improvements and SOPs to support business growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across operations, sales, and logistics
Required Qualifications:
- 1–3+ years of accounting experience in a professional environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (US GAAP preferred)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
